Ben hated his life, or unlife. Ben was a vampire, and not a happy one. He had never wanted to be a vampire, and he felt like everything in his life was taken from him when he was turned into a vampire.
As a vampire, Ben kills, but yet he kills criminals, feeling that at least this way he can make something good come of his change.
Christmas Eve and Ben is going to have his own Scrooge experience. He is visited by a demon, an angel and a shifter - all as part of giving him some perspective on his life and focused on getting him to change his ways and embrace his life as a vampire and stop trying to destroy himself.
