Review: Two Peas in a Potion

Two Peas in a Potion Two Peas in a Potion by Samantha Silver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tow Peas in a Potion is the second book in the new Western Woods Mystery series.

Tina is new to the paranormal world, only recently finding out that she is a witch and moving to Western Woods. There are just some things that bother her about the paranormal world, the most important being that certain jobs and tasks are reserved for certain types of paranormals, and the fact that each type tends to stay to themselves. She is determined to do what she can to change it, but first, her roommate Sara is in trouble.

Sara is an amazing flyer, and finally found a job ferrying lawyers to appointments, but this morning her first fare has dropped dead. To make matters worse it was a popular elf, who are basically immortal so to have one drop dead is big news.

Tina and her roommates, Sara, Ellie and Amy end up investigating and trying to clear Sara's name.

This is a cute new series on witchcraft that is different than most of the stories on the market. The segregation in the paranormal world is something that is unusual for the books, and the isolation from the human world is another.
