Roman by T.S. Joyce
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wolves of Winter's Edge is a short three book trilogy about the Striker boys, brothers, each hurt by the "loss" of their mother and the treatment of their father throughout life, but the death of their father has them all back for the first time finding that things are not like they thought, and secrets are great. They will need to uncover the secrets and deal with them if they are going to save the town.
Roman is the youngest, wildest of the brothers. He has always felt invisible to his father, and so when he has to come back after his father's death he resents it, but yet here he is. He's ready to run, until he realizes that there is more going on beneath the surface than he knows, and when Blaire's life is in danger, he joins with his brothers to take back the town. Doing that means uncovering what is going on, and that means getting close to someone in town.
Mila has loved and hated Roman all her life. She loved him in secret, never daring to reveal her true feelings, then when he left, she hated him. She blamed him for the fall of his father, for all the terrible things that have happened to the pack and to her since he left. She has always believed she was submissive, the bottom of the pack and she has hated it, but Roman is about to teach her that she is alpha.
This book continues right were book one, Gentry stopped and build on the story of the brothers and their search for answers and to take back the town.
