Review: Gentry

Gentry Gentry by T.S. Joyce
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When I see the author is T.S. Joyce, I know that the book is going to be well-written, action-packed, emotional and shifter-paranormal. Even if that isn't a genre that you normally read, I would put money down on the fact that with as well-written and thought out as this author writes, you will enjoy the story! If you ever have a chance to read this author, it is a can't miss.

Wolves of Winter's Edge is a short, three book trilogy about three brothers and the mistakes that their parents made to try to give them a good life that lead them all three back to this point and into the lives of three very different women.

Gentry is book one, and it is about Gentry, the middle son, but the one that his father Noah labeled as his "favorite" and the one he planned to pass everything down to, which caused a great deal off conflict with his older and younger brother. All three brothers have been gone from town for awhile, and only a call that their father is dead can bring all three back together. While there, they uncover secrets that only they hold the answers to, and only they can make the changes to save a town and the population there.

In the middle of all this conflict walks Blaire, a woman reeling from divorce that feels discarded, unworthy and cast aside. It's not safe for her here, but Gentry is hard-pressed to make her leave. She is human, knows nothing of the paranormal world, but is in for the education of a lifetime in a short period of time.

Can Blaire and Gentry work together to take back the town from a rogue hell-bent on destroying everything? Can their two completely different worlds be merged together or are they only leading to disaster?
